Each year, the VFW and Veterans Organizations of Putnam CT have the ability to select a Student of remarkable potential to server as the Town's Poppy King or Queen.  This individual is recognized by the Veterans at the Veteran's Day Appreciation Dinner and also gets special recognition in being escorted IN the Town of Putnam's Memorial Day Parade.  If you'd like to apply, check out below! 

Poppy Queen/King Application
Poppy Queen is the antiquated Title.  This honor is open to any student that applies and is selected, regardless of identity.
