What does the Putnam VFW do?
 
It's easy to look up VFW National's website, and links to all their programs.  Let's talk about here in Putnam.
 
• Members in need financial and logistical assistance.  Rides, groceries, manpower.  Whatever we can muster up.
 
• Spiritual Guidance with our Chaplain.  It's not just a name in a position.  We take it serious for anyone in the Community that needs guidance.
 
• Financial Assistance to many Youth Programs in the Putnam area.  Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, NECOG Youth Sports, TEEG, and many more.
 
• Scholarships for those who meet our criteria.
 
• Ensuring that any Buried Veteran in our area receives Perpetual Care.  No more lost Grave sites, overgrown and forgotten Veterans.
 
• Dinner Dances
 
• Live Entertainment
 
• Free Community Wide Events through the year
 
• Fundraiser Meals, Events and Games (Looking at you BINGO).
